More Than a Game

A Celebration of Spirit in Bugiri
This past week, the air in Iwemba was electric. Students from Betters Primary School stepped onto the field for the Primary Schools Sports Competition, fueled by determination and the cheers of their classmates. Competing in both football and netball, our young athletes showcased not just their skills, but the incredible resilience that defines our community.
While the primary goal of sports is often to find a winner at least 20 school teams, the true victory was seen in the smiles, the teamwork, and the sheer joy of participation. These moments are vital milestones in our mission to provide every child with a childhood filled with opportunity and hope.

The Road to the Finals
Our Under 12 Netball team delivered a performance for the history books, battling their way through the brackets to reach the grand finals. Though they didn't take home the trophy, their journey taught them the power of perseverance.

Football on the Field
The soccer pitch was alive with action. Our players demonstrated incredible footwork and team coordination, proving that with practice and support, their potential is limitless on and off the field.
Fuel the Joy
Competitive sports provide more than just exercise; they build confidence, discipline, and community. We invite you to be a part of this journey by supporting our continued school programs.
Gratitude to Our Supporters
We are profoundly grateful to the sponsors and donors who make these trips possible. Your contributions cover transportation, equipment, and training, ensuring that rural students are never sidelined from the experiences that help them thrive. Let's keep the momentum going.
