Today's Verse
Psalm 82:3-4 (NIV): "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked."
At Better Days Primary School, our children convene every Tuesday for a heartfelt session of praise and worship dedicated to God. This weekly gathering serves as a vital spiritual cornerstone for our school, allowing the orphans to come together in a supportive and nurturing environment. During these sessions, our children, find solace and strength in their shared faith and collective experiences.

The atmosphere is filled with a palpable sense of joy and reverence as the children engage in various forms of worship. They are encouraged to express themselves freely through heartfelt prayers, which often reflect their hopes, dreams, and gratitude. This practice not only fosters a sense of belonging but also helps them articulate their feelings and thoughts in a safe space.
Expressions of Devotion and community values
As they raise their hands in worship, the children's faces light up with enthusiasm and devotion, embodying the spirit of gratitude for the love and care that surrounds them. This act of raising their hands is not merely a physical gesture; it symbolizes their openness to receive blessings and their desire to connect with the divine. The songs of praise that fill the air resonate deeply, as each note reflects their appreciation for the generosity of our donors, who play a crucial role in supporting their education and well-being.
Moreover, the children learn the importance of community and support. They share testimonies of how the kindness of others has positively impacted their lives, reinforcing the values of empathy and gratitude. Through these interactions, they develop a deeper understanding of the significance of giving back and the power of collective faith.
Transformative Experience
Overall, the praise and worship sessions at Better Days Primary School are more than just a weekly gathering; they are a transformative experience that nurtures the spiritual and emotional growth of our pupils. Through these gatherings, we aim to instill a sense of purpose and belonging, reminding them that they are cherished members of a larger community, bound together by faith and love.
